Latest News: Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis Confirmed for Horribles Bosses 2

Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis set for Horrible Bosses 2

Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis have finalized their deals to return for the New Line Cinema sequel Horrible Bosses 2. Jamie Foxx is also in negotiations to reprise his role from the 2011 hit Horrible Bosses.

The original movie followed Nick Hendricks (Jason Bateman), Dale Arbus (Charlie Day), and Kurt Buckman (Jason Sudeikis), three lifelong friends who are sick and tired of their awful employers. With the help of a "consultant" named Motherf&^er Jones (Jamie Foxx), the suburban trio hatch a plan to get rid of their bosses once and for all. The sequel will feature a brand new set of bosses, but there is reportedly room for the original bosses played by Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston to return. Colin Farrell's boss character met his untimely end in the first movie.

We reported in January that writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein are working on the script, with Seth Gordon returning to direct. Production is scheduled to begin sometime this summer. Horrible Bosses, which cost just $ 35 million to produce, took in over $ 200 million worldwide in the summer of 2011.

Horrible Bosses 2 is in development and stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Jamie Foxx. The film is directed by Seth Gordon.
