Godzilla Trailer Is Coming This Tuesday

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures have announced that a trailer for Gareth Edwards' sci-fi reboot, Godzilla, will be unveiled this Tuesday Morning at 10 AM Pacific/1PM Eastern. In anticipation for the trailer, the studios have also launched the viral site Mutoresearch.net, which features this brief teaser entitled "Muto Video 1".

An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs "Godzilla," which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai,Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Cosmopolis), and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, And Good Luck., The Bourne Legacy) and Bryan Cranston (Argo, Breaking Bad).

Gareth Edwards directs from a screenplay by Max Borenstein, story by David Callaham, based on the character "Godzilla" owned and created by TOHO CO., LTD. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Patricia Whitcher and Alex Garcia are serving as executive producers, alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures present a Legendary Pictures production, a Gareth Edwards film, "Godzilla." Slated to open on May 16, 2014, the film is expected to be presented in 3D, 2D and IMAX® in select theaters and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, except in Japan, where it will be distributed by Toho Co., Ltd. Legendary Pictures is a division of Legendary Entertainment.

Godzilla comes to theaters May 16th, 2014 and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathairn, Richard T. Jones, Sally Hawkins. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards.

Amy Adams talks Wonder Woman's inclusion in Batman vs. Superman

Following the news from last week that Gal Gadot is playing Wonder Woman in Batman Vs. Superman, actress Amy Adams, who plays Lois Lane, revealed that she didn't know Wonder Woman had been cast, while saying that she hopes she has scenes with the actress.

"Oh did they? I don't even know so clearly I'm not the person to talk to. That's awesome, I hope I get a scene with her. I love working with the gals. I think we start [filming] in February, it's sort of the plan. I'm excited, I think it's gonna be awesome!" I think it's gonna be good times."

In a separate interview, the actress confessed that she hopes Lois Lane will become "teammates" with Wonder Woman, instead of getting involved in a love triangle.

"Am I interested? I don't know. I mean, we'll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we're not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries. That would be fun. It would be nice of women weren't always catfighting and stuff!"

In related news, we have word that the sequel will include two villains from the Superman comic book universe, which is most likely Lex Luthor and Metallo, although that has not been confirmed. Callan Mulvey has been rumored to be in contention for the Metallo role, while Warner Bros. is seeking African-American actors to play Lex Luthor.

Batman Vs. Superman comes to theaters July 17th, 2015 and stars Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

Help Get the Garbage Pail Kids Documentary Made!

Garbage Pail Kids artist Joe Simko needs your help! As producer of the documentary 30 Years of Garbage, he is asking fans to pledge towards the project in hopes of getting it on theater screens by 2015. We have the first trailer for 30 Years of Garbage, which looks at the creation and history behind this iconic Topps Cards institution. Watch, and then read on for how you can become part of Garbage Pail Kids history.

The Garbage Pail Kids are 30 years old! Celebrate their gross-out greatness with artist interviews, superfan collections, and more!

30 Years of Garbage has already secured interview commitments from original Garbage Pail Kids creators including: Art Spiegelman, Len Brown, Mark Newgarden, John Pound, Tom Bunk, Jay Lynch and others. Also on board as a co-producer is Adam F. Goldberg, creator of the ABC primetime TV show, The Goldbergs.

Although this is great news, Joe Simko and his filmmaking team still need backers for this awesome project. This is not a Topps-funded documentary, so the artists, are going straight to the people to try and get funding. You can help by contributing to their Kickstarter campaign: clickHere

30 Years of Garbage is seeking a pledge goal of $ 75,000, and with 140 and 30 days to go, they have already gotten up to $ 11,496. The deadline to contribute is Sunday, January 5 at 11:59pm EST.
