'The Sacrament' Trailer

When two Vice Media journalists try to track down their friend's missing sister, they enter a world they are truly not prepared for in director Ti West's The Sacrament. Following the red band trailer that debuted last week, Magnet Releasing has provided us with the all-ages trailer, which shows the journey of Vice Media reporters Sam (AJ Bowen) and Jake (Joe Swanberg) as they enter a self-sustained community known as Eden Parish, lead by their charismatic "Father" (Gene Jones), in hopes of reuniting their colleague Patrick (Kentucker Audley) with his long-lost sister (Amy Seimetz). Check out the latest footage for this new thriller, debuting on iTunes and VOD formats May 1, before arriving in theaters June 6.

From acclaimed writer/director Ti West (The Innkeepers, The House of the Devil) and master of horror Eli Roth (The Last Exorcism, Hostel, Cabin Fever), The Sacrament follows two Vice Media correspondents as they set out to document their friend's journey to find his missing sister. They travel outside of the United States to an undisclosed location where they are welcomed into the world of "Eden Parish," a self-sustained rural utopia, comprised of nearly two hundred members. At the center of this small, religious, socialist community is a mysterious leader known only as "Father." As their friend reunites with his sister, it becomes apparent to the newcomers that this paradise may not be as it seems. What started as just another documentary shoot soon becomes a race to escape with their lives.

The Sacrament comes to theaters June 6th, 2014 and stars Joe Swanberg, Amy Seimetz, Kate Lyn Sheil, AJ Bowen, Gene Jones, Shaun Clay, Kentucker Audley, Shawn Parsons. The film is directed by Ti West.

Hot News: 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2': Harry Osborn's Return Teased in Daily Bugle Viral

The Amazing Spider-Man 2's Daily Bugle viral website has posted a new story that features a crossover between a fictional character and an actual real world event. The story describes how Dane DeHaan's Harry Osborn was spotted at the closing ceremonies of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, which happened just last week in Russia. It seems this viral site is setting up a timeline leading up to the events of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, since this latest story ponders when this heir to the OsCorp empire will be coming home to New York City. Of course, we know he comes home in the movie, thanks to the trailers and other footage, but it's interesting that they mention the Olympics in chronicling Harry's travels. Take a look at the full story from Daily Bugle Entertainment Editor Chelsea Goodrich.

Not content to just show off his latest sports car, young billionaire and future misanthrope, Harry Osborn was seen arm in arm with supermodel Valencia Vitaly at the closing ceremonies in Sochi. Osborn had reporters scrambling for an interview, but all questions went unanswered as he disappeared soon after the ceremony ended.

Harry's Russian sojourn is just the latest in a long European adventure that's included skydiving in Monaco, week long parties in Seville and impromptu street races in the narrow streets of Prague. Suffice it to say, Harry seems intent on spending his trust fund as fast and as dangerously as possible.

Rumor has it people inside Oscorp want Harry to stay as far away as possible, but as the health of his father is still uncertain, the rest of the world wants to know: what will it take to bring him home?

This story also references an article from December that speculated about the health of Harry's father Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper). This is also the first we're hearing about "supermodel" Valencia Vitaly, and it isn't known if this character will be appearing in director Marc Webb's sequel.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes to theaters May 2nd, 2014 and stars Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx, Emma Stone, Sally Field, Paul Giamatti, Denis Leary, Dane DeHaan, Martin Sheen. The film is directed by Marc Webb.

'The Conjuring 2' Gets October 2015 Release Date

Just hours after handing out release dates for Entourage, Inherent Vice and The Intern, Warner Bros. has issued new dates for The Conjuring 2 (October 23, 2015), Mean Moms (May 8, 2015), How to Be Single (February 12, 2016) and an untitled horror project (October 3, 2014), which may be The Conjuring spin-off Annabelle.

The Conjuring 2 doesn't have any direct competition as of yet, but it debuts just one week after Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak. The Conjuring writers Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes signed on to write the script in July, although it isn't known if James Wan will be back to direct, or if Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will return to star.

Mean Moms, which has Jennifer Aniston in talks to star, has the May 8, 2015 date to itself for now, but it is sandwiched between Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron and Warner Bros.' Mad Max: Fury Road. The story, based on Rosalind Wiseman's book, follows a married mother who moves from a small town to a ritzy suburb, where she is sucked into the world of competitive parenting. Beth McCarthy-Miller is set to direct.

How to Be Single is going up against Lionsgate's Gods of Egypt and Universal's Untitled Pets Project on February 12, 2016. Lily Collins signed on to star last night in this ensemble romantic comedy that follows several New Yorkers and their relationships throughout a number of years. Christian Ditter is directing from a screenplay by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn, based on Liz Tuccillo's book, with Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen producing.

It hasn't been confirmed yet whether or not Warner Bros.' untitled horror project is in fact The Conjuring spin-off Annabelle, which charts the origins of the haunted doll shown in the original thriller. Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton are set to star.

The Conjuring 2 is in development .

Hot News: 'Fantastic Four' Reboot: Michael B. Jordan Responds to Human Torch Criticism

It seems like we've had nearly a year to let the news sink in that Michael B. Jordan is the Human Torch (aka Johnny Storm) in 20th Century Fox's planned The Fantastic Four reboot. The rumor has been in place for months now, and it was just confirmed earlier this week. Yet, some people still can't handle the fact that the actor, known best as Haddie's love interest on NBC's Parenthood and seen in the recent movies Chronicle, Fruitvale Station and That Awkward Moment, is taking on the character.

Most of the controversy comes from the color of his skin. Michael B. Jordan is an African-American actor taking on a role that was originated as a Caucasian male. Johnny Storm was last seen on screen as the embodiment of American values himself, Chris Evans, who went onto play the most patriotic of Marvel characters Captain America. There are arguments being made on both sides of the fence, and it makes for a very touchy subject.

Now, Michael B. Jordan has responded to the criticism with a quick, dignified, very true statement. Hounded on his way to dinner by TMZ, the actor had this to say...

"Nah, they're still going to go see it anyway!"

Unfortunately your browser does not support IFrames.

The actor is apparently unaffected by any criticism or negativity pointed at his casting. It is unclear yet how it will be explained in the movie, as his sister, Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Girl) will be played by Kate Mara, a European-American of Caucasian descent. Will they have different dads? Is Sue adopted? Do they have mixed race parents, and one of the babies happens to be lighter skinned then the other one (that's a story happening right now on his former series Parenthood)? Maybe it won't be explained at all.

Where do you stand on this controversy? Are you going to go see the movie anyway? Or will you boycott this reboot based on the color of a character's skin? That sounds racist, but the argument is being made.

The Fantastic Four comes to theaters June 19th, 2015 and stars Michael B. Jordan. The film is directed by Josh Trank.

'Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2' Adds Molly Shannon

Just over a month after the sequel was announced, the supporting cast of Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is starting to come together, with Molly Shannon, David Henrie, Nicholas Turturro and Gary Valentine in talks to star. Raini Rodriguez is also in negotiations to reprise her role from Paul Blart: Mall Cop as Maya, the daughter of Kevin James' title character.

The story is set in Las Vegas, where Paul and Maya attend a security guard convention. After being constantly mocked by casino security, he helps them bring down a dangerous group of art thieves. No details were given for Molly Shannon's character, but David Henrie is playing a Vegas valet attendant who Maya has a crush on. Nicholas Turturro will play one of Blart's security guard adversaries, while Gary Valentine is portraying a colleague who is sympathetic to the title character's plight.

Andy Fickman (Parental Guidance) is directing from a script that Kevin James co-wrote with Nick Bakay. Adam Sandler is producing through his Happy Madison company, along with Todd Garner. Production is scheduled to begin this April in Las Vegas.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Kevin James, Molly Shannon, David Henrie, Raini Rodriguez, Nicholas Turturro, Gary Valentine. The film is directed by Andy Fickman.
